National Chung Shang Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) interpreted (12th) the news report “Missile tests of Anti-J-20 new Tien-Jian II resulted in 100-km range with active radar system” as follows:

The R&D of all weapons in NCSIST was following the requirement of MND to build up self-sufficient capacity of national defence. Yet the report of allegedly enhanced range of Tien-Jian II missile was a guessing and no match to the fact. Those expression was never stated by NCSIST which appealed to news media for better verification.
